Uxue Urteaga

Uxue Urteaga is a Gender Program Analyst, working within the Gender and Partnerships Team at the Global Environment Facility. She works on ensuring gender integration and results measurement in projects and programs, as well as collaborating and engaging with governments, international organizations, civil society, and communities to foster partnerships.

Uxue holds a bachelor's degree in law and business, and she is pursuing a master's degree in environmental law, further deepening her understanding of environmental issues and their intersection with social and climate justice. Uxue is from the Basque Country.
