Henry Salazar
Before working at the GEF, Henry was the Inter-American Development Bank’s Technical Liaison with the GEF. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute in Colombia and was the Coordinator of the Project Appraisal and Management Component for the Colombian National Natural Parks Unit. In addition, Henry has worked as a director of sustainable development projects, advisor in governmental institutions, and professor at the Javeriana University in Bogota. Henry holds a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master degree in Economics from the University of Los Andes in Bogota, as well as a master degree in Environmental and Resource Economics from University College London, United Kingdom.
