Evelyn Swain
Senior Environmental Specialist
Evelyn Swain was previously on detail with the GEF from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She has over 7 years experience developing and implementing policies designed to protect the environment. From 2005 to 2011, she worked for the US Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Atmospheric Programs, where she was responsible for initiatives addressing both ozone layer protection and climate change. She helped manage US implementation of the Montreal Protocol, and launched government/private partnerships across industry sectors to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Evelyn is a US national with a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and a M.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
