To meet the targets of the Paris Climate Agreement and to reduce increasing air pollution, it is essential that low- and middle-income countries are part of a global shift to zero-emissions electric mobility. The GEF-supported Global Electric Mobility Program, led by the United Nations Environment Programme and implemented in collaboration with leading international organizations and partners from the private sector, finance, and academia was developed to support countries in meeting their electric mobility goals.
This brochure provides an overview of the program and the countries and cities that stand to benefit from the investments.
